Poppy Estate Golf Course: Terms & Conditions

1. Tee Time Reservations

  • Public Players: May book tee times up to 7 days in advance.

  • Season Pass Holders: May book tee times up to 14 days in advance.

  • Booking Method: All reservations must be made online (24/7). Reservations are not accepted by phone.

  • Check-in: All golfers must check into the Pro Shop 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time.

  • Equipment: Every player must have their own set of clubs.

2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

How to Cancel

   • Booked Online: Cancellations must be made through the online booking portal or call proshop up to 16 hours prior to your scheduled tee time.

   • Booked by Phone: Cancellations must be made by calling and speaking directly to a staff member during Pro Shop business hours (from the first tee time to the last tee time of the day), up to 24 hours prior to your tee time.

   • Please Note: Cancellations are NOT accepted via voicemail, email, or text message.

Late Cancellations & Rebooking

   -If you miss the cancellation window, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to rebook your tee time. The earlier you let us know, the better our chances of filling the spot, which may help you avoid the late cancellation fee.

   Fees

   • Late Cancellation / Partial No-Show: A charge of up to $35 per player will be applied to the credit card on file for cancellations made past the required notice period, or if you arrive with fewer players than originally booked.

   • Group No-Show: 100% of the green fees will be charged to the credit card on file if the entire group fails to show up for their tee time

3. Weather & Rain Checks

  • Inclement Weather: Cancellation fees may be waived only if you call the Pro Shop prior to your tee time. Playability is determined solely by Poppy Estate Golf Course staff.

  • Rain Check Policy: Rain checks are not offered. Players must decide to play before paying green fees.

  • Course Closure: If the Superintendent deems the course unsafe (e.g., lightning), a two-hour waiting period applies before a pro-rated credit is issued.

4. Liquor & Conduct Policy

  • Zero Tolerance: Only alcohol purchased at Poppy Estate Golf Course is permitted. Outside alcohol will be confiscated. No "tailgating" or consumption is allowed in the parking lot.

  • Conduct: Harassment of staff will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave, their tee time cancelled, and 100% of green fees will be charged.

5. Course Etiquette & Safety

  • Dress Code: Neat and presentable clothing only. No ripped/soiled clothes, jogging pants, or tank tops. Soft-spikes or soft-soled shoes only (no heels or boots).

  • Safety: For insurance purposes, walkers or caddies are not permitted on the course.

  • Juniors: Minimum age is 8. Golfers under 13 must be accompanied by an adult guardian who is also golfing.

 

6. Power Carts​

  • Drivers must be 19+ and must present a physical, valid driver’s license (BC or equivalent) and valid credit card at check-in.

  • The signatory of this agreement assumes all liability for loss or damage to the power cart, regardless of the authorized driver at the time of the incident during the rental period.

  • Carts must stay 50 feet away OR stay on the cart path around all greens and tee boxes.

  • Cart path only on all Par 3s.

LEGAL NOTICE & WAIVER

By clicking "Book Tee Time Now," I agree to the Terms & Conditions and the Release of Liability. I understand that I am waiving my right to sue Poppy Estate Golf Course Ltd. for any injury or damage, even if caused by the NEGLIGENCE of the course or its staff under the British Columbia Occupiers Liability Act.
