booking a tee time

 

Dress Code 

• Neat & presentable clothing only. No ripped or soiled clothing.​ No jogging pants, short shorts or tank tops.

• Soft-spiked golf shoes or soft-soled shoes only, no heels or cowboy boots.

​

  Check In

• Checking in at the pro-shop is required whether you booked a prepaid tee time or left credit card to hold tee time.

 

  Pace of Play

• Players are to play only one ball and keep up with the group ahead at all times. Each group is allotted a specific amount of time to complete a round, as stipulated by the course's pace of play. Those who do not keep up will be asked by the course marshal to catch up to the group in front of them or skip a hole.

  Bookings

• Bookings are 7 days in advance. A credit card is required for all bookings whether phone or online. Individuals can pay at the pro-shop.

• Prepaid online specials are final sale and non refundable

​

  ​Cancellation Policy

​

• Within 24 hours of your tee time, your booking is non-refundable and are non- changeable.

​

• Cancellations can be made online(if booked online)  up to 24 hours before your tee time

​

• CANCELLATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED VIA VOICEMAIL , E-MAIL OR TEXT MESSAGE. MUST BE CALLED IN DURING PRO SHOP BUSINESS HOURS.

• If players cannot attend the tee time booked, it is best to contact the pro-shop ahead of the booking to advise and we will attempt to fill the players spot with another golfer. If successfully filled, there will be no cancellation charge. If we fill the tee time with less or no players, then the difference will be the late cancellation charge of up to $29 per player.

    

  No Show Policy

• A no show applies even if some, but not all players arrive
  If any of your group fails to show up to your tee time without notice, you will be charged up to 100% of the green fees for the number of no show players.                                                                                                                        

  Rain Check Policy

• Please be aware we do not offer rain cheques unless the course is deemed unsafe or unplayable by Poppy Estate Golf Course Management.

   Liquor Policy

• Alcoholic beverages other than those purchased at Poppy Estate Golf Course are not permitted. All outside alcohol will be confiscated immediately by golf course staff. No Tailgating or gatherings consuming liquor in the parking lot as this is against our liquor license.

   No Walkers or Caddies 

• Due to safety reasons under company insurance policy, no additional walkers are permitted to accompany the group over and above your paid foursome. Anyone in this situation will be asked to leave the property.

  Junior Golfers [Age 9-17]

• An adult guardian golfer must accompany all junior golfer under 13.

​

• All players must have their own set of golf clubs and if under 8 years must get the approval of the golf services supervisor before they are allowed to play. 

 

  Rentals and Power Cart Policies

• Pull carts, power carts and clubs are done on a first come first served basis; a reservation is recommended for clubs and power carts

 

• Each individual golfer must have their own set of clubs

• No personal power carts, golf scooters, boards or bikes are permitted on course due to liability

​

• Power carts must be kept 30 feet away from greens and tee boxes. Cart rules will change throughout the season, but cart path only on all par 3s.

​

• Power carts hold up to 2 players and 2 sets of clubs

​

• You must be at least 19 years old or have a valid BC driver's license to drive a power cart and a valid credit card imprint is required

Poppy Estate Golf Course Ltd. is not and shall not be liable for any claim, injury, lost, stolen or damage arising from the use or inability to use the site. Should any interruption occur within the site, whether within our control or not, we expressly disclaim any liability whatsoever for any damage, indirect, incidental, consequential special or special or exemplary that may result to any party including any user of the property.
